Jyljkat is a Danish animation studio
Jyljkat is a Danish Animation and production studio based in Odense Denmark. it was founded in 2024 by Emily Friis as a place where dreams and ideas can come alive.
When Emily Created Jyljkat it was out of a dream of having her own studio where she could produce the content that she wanted to see. That lead her to make two short films in the Spring of 2024.
Jyljkat has also made animated and illustrated content for other brands, like NaturTales where Emily was the lead animator for their new app content. we also made an ad for the danish Bloddoners organization (Bloddonorende Danmark)
Our hope is that Jyljkat will become a known studio for 2D animation in Denmark in the future.
Meet the Jyljkat Team
Founder and Art Director: Emily Friis
Emily Friis is the Founder of Jyljkat. She is also the main force behind the studio. she is the Art Director, 2D animator and Illustrator. She is a Graduate from Aarhus Business academy where she studied Multimedia Design and specialized herself in Content Creation and Visual storytelling.
She is also a Classicly trained artist and has studied animation under her mentor Mikkel Mainz Elkjær.
CFO. Molly Dolly Bum
Our CFO. ( Chief Fluff Officer) is Molly Dolly Bum.
She is our youngest ever CFO and she makes sure we are all motivated and ready to work. Molly is also in control of the company’s fitness pack as she makes sure that the employees get up and walk, which is important, since our work is a lot of sitting in front of computers
CEO. Carlo Børgesen
Our CEO.( Cat Executive Officer ) is Carlo Børgesen.
after a long life as a cosmonaut he wanted a karrier change and decited to work at jyljkat as the CEO.
Carlo makes sure that the projects runs smoothly and that the deadlines is met.
